Week 8 Titans vs. Colts

In a season where no one on the team has looked real impressive, this week we played the afc south's number 1 seed . Back in week 5 we played this very same Colts team and could do nothing correct and ended up lossing sadly 41 - 13. Coach buckster had what seemed to be a perfect game against my weak Titans team. Going into this game i truely expected to get more of the same from this Colts team , but this would not be the case in week 8. One could say coach buckster woke up the sleeping titans and came in unprepared. We held the colts to just 6 1st downs and they had the ball for 11:48 seconds of possession. Our defense was on fire, we held Peyton Manning to only 60 yards passing, with one pick and we got to him 3 times which left him with a qb rating of 24.6. Not only was we effective against Manning , but we held his rushing game to only 60 yards. At the end of the day the score was 24 - 0 . We are hoping that this team is starting to get what we are trying to do here and that this is a step towards the future.Our qb Matt Stanford had his best game of the season passing for 305 yards , throwing 2 touch downs for a qb rating of 133.6 . Unfortunately he took on 2 sacks. Our hb Jamaal Charles had a season high as well rushing for 131 yards. I have to give out 2 game balls to both Stanford and Charles. Well done to both of you and to the entire team.
