Team News Wire ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-- The first week of Denver Broncos quarterback camp wrapped up Thursday morning at Dove Valley. For the rookies the first week of camp was full of adjustments.
The team's first-round draft pick offensive tackle Ryan Clady was accustomed to getting up somewhere between 8 and 9 a.m. but now Clady's schedule requires early morning arrivals at Dove Valley; he is still getting acclimated to the schedule of an NFL football player.
"Waking up at 5 a.m. every day; it was kind of a 'welcome to the NFL (moment)'," Clady said.

Second-round draft pick wide receiver Eddie Royal is still trying to wrap his head around the massive size of the Broncos' playbook.
"They are throwing a lot at me, the whole playbook I feel like," Royal said. "But the coaches are taking it slow with me, they're helping me out. I am getting a lot of mental reps. It is going a lot better than I thought it would."
Royal has gone as far as writing plays on his wrist tape, so he can have a reminder out on the field.
"I had to," Royal said about the cheat sheet on his wrists. "I am trying to write down everything from the meetings; the things I think I am going to forget out on the field."

Rookie running back Ryan Torain agreed with his teammates noting that there have been a lot of things they have had to try and pick up quickly these last four days.
"It is a lot of stuff getting thrown in," Torain said. "But the coach is keeping us sane. We just have to learn day-by-day and have a good time with it."
